Edward Elgar, Charles Villiers Stanford, Christopher Wren - and you.

Stewards of the Festival are our closest circle of supporters, commemorating the past while championing the future, both for choral music and the wellbeing of thousands of clergy and their families.

They play a ceremonial role, processing in the Festival Service at St Paul's Cathedral and contributing towards the success of one of the oldest choral music events in the world.

Historically, Stewards were responsible for organising the Festival itself. In 1975, this task was taken over by the staff at the Trust.

Stewards can choose to process at the start of the service, like the clergy, Masters/Prime Wardens/Upper Baliffs and other representatives of the City of London.

The 370th Clergy Support Trust Festival Service and Dinner will be on Tuesday 13 May, 2025. Tickets will be available in 2025.
