Holy Rood House

In 2018 we started a new partnership with the Holy Rood House Centre for Health and Pastoral Care in North Yorkshire. We support the uncovered costs of eligible beneficiaries who stay at Holy Rood House for pastoral, counselling or other support.

Sheldon (Mary and Martha)

Sheldon is an independent charity whose converted farm complex near Exeter is run by a lay community. It supports people in ministry and/or partners, especially at times of stress, crisis, burnout or breakdown.

The specialist work is set within a more broadly based retreat and education framework. Individual accommodation units are available for private retreats alongside a programme of led retreats and workshops. Sheldon also hosts cell groups and team residentials. We support Sheldon’s ministry (for eligible beneficiaries) with an annual grant.

A safe and secure online community of practice for people in ministry of all denominations with the option to contribute anonymously.

Wide-ranging forum conversations cover everything from the day-to-day practicalities of ministry (The Kitchen Table) to space for seeking urgent help from peers at difficult times (The Surgery).

Good quality space online to complement the residential resources available at Sheldon.

The College of St Barnabas

A residential community of retired Anglican clergy and church members, set in the countryside of Surrey.  The College offers a place of security for residents and includes nursing care, respite care and residential care.  We support a number of eligible residents in relation to their residential, care and nursing costs through an annual grant.
