The Court of Assistants, Chief Executive and staff of Clergy Support Trust are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Trust has been under Royal Patronage since the granting of its Royal Charter in 1678, and we have been grateful for The late Queen’s generous support over many decades.

The Trust’s staff draw great inspiration from Her late Majesty’s own desire “to try to do what is right, to take the long view, to give of my best in all that the day brings, and to put my trust in God” (The Queen’s Christmas Message, 2002). In that spirit, and mindful of The late Queen’s generous support of our important work, we will continue to receive and process applications for grants and services.

The thoughts and prayers of the Trust’s team, and doubtless of the thousands of clergy and households we are honoured to serve, are with Her late Majesty’s family and friends.

God Save The King.
