We are so grateful to Clergy Support Trust for their financial help over the years in the form of a grant ... it has enabled us each year to have a much-needed summer holiday away from the demands of day-to-day parish life!
Being a vicar means that, in a sense, I am always ‘on duty’ while I am at home. So for us as a family, being able to go away for a holiday is so important, as it means that we are refreshed for being back in the parish.
For various reasons, we have had to live on just my stipend these last few years, and so the grants that have been given have made such a difference to our family life. Thank you again to Clergy Support Trust ... you are a real blessing to hard-pressed clergy families and individuals!
