Are you part of a clergy household, and are looking for support with your day-to-day finances, retirement planning or mental health?
We are delighted to launch our new Clergy Support Hub, an online space containing a wealth of information and guides, specific to clergy and their families, to support them with all aspects of life and ministry.
Clergy Support Trust are the largest charity for Anglican clergy and their families, including their partners, former partners and dependant children. We are independent from the national Churches, impartial and confidential, and for four centuries, we have been there for clergy in times of need.
Our applicants have long told us that they would like more self-service support, covering a range of subjects, including personal development, dealing with difficult parish relationships, navigating retirement and setting healthy boundaries.
As part of our 2026-28 Strategy, we committed to invest significantly in this area. Now, thanks to the support of a number of equally passionate partners and funders, and months of hard work from our dedicated team, the Hub is now live and clergy in need can begin to access expert advice and guidance.
The Clergy Support Hub offers a growing range of digital resources - including downloadable guides, courses, webinars, videos and even a podcast - to provide practical, preventative support for clergy households with the challenges they face.
"We are grateful for the extraordinary people we serve, and we are eager to try to support them in new ways, as well as with our centuries-old commitment to financial support and wellbeing. In doing so, we are grateful for the love and grace God continues to show us."
"We'd like to thank all of the partner organisations who have helped to create such informative, engaging content for the Support Hub, including Jan and John Rogers from JR Corporate Health; Dr Matt Edwards from Thrive Worldwide; and the team behind the Bless This Mess Podcast."
"The Support Hub would also not have been possible without generous funding from The Henry Smith Foundation, who share our vision of a world in which clergy and their families facing adversity have the support they need to thrive."
