Why your support matters

We're privileged to be able to do what we do, whether it's helping Donna to afford vital dental surgery, providing Josiah with a grant for a bicycle to visit congregants across his parish, or enabling Sarah to travel to Paris to watch her daughter achieve her paralympic dream.

However, with over £1.3 million of the grants we provided last year being used on essentials like heating and energy bills, we think it's wrong that so many households should be struggling to afford the basics. We continue to voice this concern with leaders in the national Churches, and change is coming, including the upcoming increase to both clergy pensions and the stipend.

But we need your help. Clergy spend their lives serving their communities; offering spiritual and emotional counsel; running food banks; holding the hands of the sick and dying. We want to support the people who spend their lives supporting all of us.

Gift Aid

If you’re a UK taxpayer, completing a Gift Aid declaration means we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate — at no additional cost to you.

When you donate online, you'll be prompted to complete a Gift Aid form as part of the process. If you're donating by another method, you'll need to drop us an email, to let us know that you'd like us to claim Gift Aid on your donation.

"The Trust helped support my husband’s family as he was growing up. His father was a vicar, and having support helped them when times were tough. It had always been a dream of my husband’s to give back to the charity that supported him."
