Retirement into a pension board house worked out to not be as helpful as we thought, with additional costs such as council taxes, utility costs, and a fairly high rent - all of which put increased pressure on our pension finances.

This meant that any unexpected expense would seriously affect our month by month budget.

At various times I have applied for and been given a grant which has greatly helped us to survive and given us a very real boost improving both the quality of life and the ability to not feel so pressured into debt.

The grant application is very easy and received with compassion and consideration that responds quickly confirming receipt and acceptance.

To anyone worried or concerned about surviving financially under most circumstances should consider making an application to Clergy Support Trust.
