We are a grant-making charity supporting Anglican clergy and their families and are looking to expand our small team with a Finance and Operations Officer. You'll be based in our pleasant office near Westminster Abbey and report directly to our Head of Finance and Operations.
You will sit at the heart of the charity’s busy team. Skilled in finance and operations work, and able to balance a range of critical priorities, the ‘first point of contact’ for many of the charity’s partners and stakeholders, and will support the Head of Finance & Operations in oversight of the Trust’s significant investments. You will also be responsible for efficient management of the office – both the charity’s beautiful building in central London, and the requirements of colleagues as they work at home for part of each week. This will include staffing reception three/four days per week, including frequent contact with Trustees, supporters, contractors, and others.
We are looking for someone who can build excellent relationships with colleagues, and demonstrate strong financial and administrative skills. This is a busy role which will suit a skilled professional able to focus on a range of projects in a small, efficient frontline team. Experience of working with finance processes and reporting, Sage and liaising with outside contractors is essential. Candidates will also need to demonstrate good client service skills and IT literacy, including Excel. Candidates will need to demonstrate sympathy with our Christian ethos, without necessarily being practising Christians.
We offer an attractive package of £30-35k (depending on experience), non-contributory pension equal to 10% of gross annual salary, 35-hour week and flexi-time policy. Working both at home and in our spacious Westminster office, the expectation for this role includes at least two days per week in the London office.
